Tidings From the East: Brethren, I wish all a happy, healthy and prosperous 2011! We are planning a busy and interesting first half of 2011 at Harmony Lodge. You will see the Calendar of events below has multiple FC and MM degrees – Why? Because, we have five (5) Entered Apprentices that need to be attended to this spring. At the March 1st Stated Communication, we will address the future plans for the Lodge’s scholarship program, so please try to be there for the discussions and decision. Our annual Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast is always a great event, and we can certainly use a few more hands in the planning, cooking and serving. Last and perhaps the best, on June 21st we are holding a special event. We will honor WB Al Belcher with his 50-year pin and honor all our living Past Masters by presenting them with Past Master Aprons and Pins. We have over 20 Past Masters that were never awarded a Past Master’s Apron and Pin for their outstanding year(s) of service. I will be sending out invitation later this spring, and for all those that can attend, we will be having a catered dinner along with the presentations. I look forward to seeing as many Brothers that can attend our winter/spring meetings and events. If you are nearby and you need a ride, please call me or email me and we will arrange a ride for you.
